SAE BAJA
May 2014 - Feb 2016
This has been the biggest project I have been part of form perspective of money, size, duration, number of team members. We, as a team of 25 students, designed-fabricated-tested an entire single-seater all-terrain vehicle from scratch. It was a great and proudful journey.

When the car hit the road, the engine starts firing, and the wheels start rolling for the first time after months and months of sleepless nights and greasy jeans -- that feel is inexpressible.
DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF TEST FIXTURE/MOUNTING
Spring 2019
This one of the several fixtures I, myself, have designed and then fabricated in using machine shop to perform the non-standard test. The objective was to compare the strength of an aluminum bracket with 3D printed onyx (nylon + carbon fiber) brackets in the double shear boundary condition.

DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF WIRE BENDING MACHINE
Summer of 2019
This is a DIY project I did because it was my holidays and I had access to makerspace :)) One of my friends wanted something which can produce springs/coils of any given dimension for his student team. Commercial wire bending machine from Pensa Lab cost $3000+ and so I tried to make it on my own. Using a lot of scrap wood and 3D printing, was able to fabricate this design for free !!

META MATERIALS WITH A TWIST
Design of Compliant Mechanism
December 2017 - August 2018
This was my master's research project. It is about conceptualizing the mechanism having the ability to twist under normal forces. Go inside to see the details including videos and animation.
